Threading Tools for Miniature Threads from M1

To produce miniature threads from M1 to M3 productively and flexibly, manufacturers rely on the thread whirling cutters of the Actionmill micro whirl-thread micro series. These single-tooth tools have five cutting edges with a 60° flank angle. Their coating resists high temperatures and abrasive wear, and coolant is supplied internally through the shank via four to eight outlet nozzles. This makes them particularly productive, with long tool life.

We now also cooperate with the Swedish tool manufacturer WhizCut AB, Helsingborg, and carry its single- and multi-flute micro thread milling tools in our portfolio for users in Germany. The comprehensive range includes single-flute thread mills from M0.5 to M2, two-flute thread mills from M1 to M8 and multi-flute thread mills from M2 to M8. For comparable diameters, the respective product lines also include tools for UNC and UNF inch threads as well as for cylindrical and tapered pipe threads – including BSPT, NPT and NPTF.
